In the cafés of Linares we can find the most exquisite cakes and pastries. The confectionary from Linares is an attractive tempt for those that love sugar.
We have to highlight the chachepol, a sponge cake soaked in liqueur, which constitutes the most typical cake in the city. We can also find in Linares authentic aniseed doughnuts elaborated by the nuns of the Carmen and St José’s Convent, from the Discalced Carmelites.
